Emma is Europa Champion :-)

I just talked to Suvi and she said that Emma got her last CACE and is now EC! HUGE congratulations to Sari :-)

Igge got his 7th CACE and was also BIV! No news yet about Iffe's and Ivoire's results.

I think that it's great that sometimes judges see the type and don't just look at the coat (or the fact that coat is short). It's not very likely that Igor would grow his coat before he is neuterd, but the quality of the coat is still good.

I have to say, that this time Suvi and Veikko have really keep me posted about what's going on on Porok's show in Kempele. GIC Suvipäivän Igor got his 6th CACE and is one step closer to becoming Europa Champion. IP&IC Suvipäivän Ivor needs one CAGPIB and will be Grand International Premior. He was also BIV today. Igor's & Ivor's sister Ivoire had her certificate (CAGPIB) and was also nominated. I haven't heard the panel results yet, I think that the panel may be still going on. Ivor's son Nagge (Pr SmileTail's Night Bird) got his second CAPIB and won't attend the show tomorrow as he is "stuck" before he gets a certificate from Tallinn.

Tomorrow will be a exciting day for Emma! I will keep my fingers crossed that Milla will give Emma that last CACE...

What a chaotic morning...

My day didn't start so good... At first I discovered that there was s*it in my bed! I guess it had been stuck to someones coat and then dropped in my bed... Well, I wasn't too happy about it ;-) When I had cleaned it up, I looked around and noticed that there was catfood all over the floors! Someone had turned all plates upside down and there was food everywhere. Well, it was certainly time to bring out the vacuum cleaner..

After I had cleaned the floors, the clock was almos 9AM and I was -once again- late from work. I wonder what those cats will come up with next... ;-)

Luckily I can laugh to almost every disaster that cats have created.. In a short period of time I have lost 2 of my cat statues and my only flower. Not much :-)

PS. Little Iines is adorable. Last night she slept in my lap when I watched tv and purred all the time. She already turns 17 weeks today, and 4 months on monday.

Roope is feeling young again :-D

I haven't seen Roope so active in years! He is like a big furry ball, who runs back and forward and is either chasing Shamicka or chased by Shamicka ;-) He is loving his new little girlfriend. I'm a bit surprised actually, because Roope has always been the one that doesn't warm up easily.

Pictures of Shamicka (once again)

How can a kitten purr ALL the time? I'm not complaining, just wondering. I have finally started to call Shamicka Iines, but she doesn't quite know the name yet. But I'm trying to firs call her Shamicka and right after say "Iines" so maybe she will soon realize that Iines is her name. Now she also comes when I call Saga, so it's best that their names aren't so similar.

We have had a very lazy sunday and for once I was able to sleep late. A few times the cats tried to wake me up and finally I got up around 11 am. Shamicka follows me around all the time and every time I pick her up, she starts purring. Every time she comes next to me in the sofa (for example), she is purring. She has a little voice and she talks a lot. She is just fantastic :-)

Showresults from Jyväskylä 30.6

I was at a catshow today in Jyväskylä with Täplä (Abeona's Kalinda) and also Häjy came with Hannele. Susanna's snake litter was there too, and many more forestcats.

Täplä got her first CAC, but the nomination went to a ragdoll. Häjy got his first CACIB but he had no chances to go further, because he has NO coat :-) If I could have brought Shamicka there, she would have had one competitor. Too bad that she couldn't go to Henry Hornell's table. Henry seemed to like torties with lots of white as he nominated Pikkumetsän Jambalaia (NFO f 02 21) and Suvipäivän Iik! Deimos (NFO f 03 22).

Shamicka's "food service" was working even though I was gone the whole day. I gave her food in the morning and my parents came to feed her twice. Then again I gave her food when I came home around 8 PM. I was at my friends' house at their housewarming party and just came home and I gave her food again ;-) Of course she has Mastery kitten food available all the time (and Lulu is sooooo happy..) but she needs lots of food to grow up as a big cat :-)

I first weighted her last saturday and now she weights 266g more :-)
