Remu and Lulla

I visited Remu yesterday and AGAIN I was unable to take any decent pictures of him.... But what can you do ;-)



Häjy was returned to his home on Wednesday and I went with Marja and Toni, mainly because I had nothing else to do ;-) But also because I wanted to see Häjy's and Lulla's father Piru again. Piru and Lulla actually do look very much the same! I don't have the pictures to prove it, but now that Piru has coat and is in shape again, they look very similar. That's quite funny, because in my eyes Lulla also looks very much like her mother... Maybe she is a good combination of them both :-) But I still have no idea who Häjy looks like :-D I think he has to be unique..

Saga is feeling (and looking) good again :-)

Maalaispoika tuli kaupunkiin...

Kyllä kaupungissa on kummallista, puhuvatkin eri tavalla kuin kotipuolessa! Kotona on vaan poikia ja kyllä elämä siellä on helppoa. Toisinaan iskee naisen kaipuu, ja siinä toivossa että joku komeuteni huomaisi, olen suihkutellut sulotuoksujani aika tiuhaan tahtiin tässä kevään mittaan. Tarhaankin menen jo heti aamusta (eväät on mukana ettei nälkä iske) ja siellä sitten lauleskelen, kunnes on aika mennä sisälle.

Kevät oli jo kääntymässä kesäksi, kun tuli kutsu etelään s****lomalle. Kuulemma tämänkertainen rouva olisi nuorempikin kuin se aikaisempi, mikäs sen mukavampaa?! Viime visiitistä olikin jo sen verran aikaa, että pakkasin pikapuoliin tavarani ja hyppäsin lava-auton kyytiin sunnuntai-iltana. Jostain Korson Essolta minut haettiin ja pian oltiinkin jo sviitissäni.

Tuleva rouva oli kyllä kaunis, mutta se luonne... Noh, kaikkea ei voi saada. Aika äreästi otti minut vastaan, toiveikkaina yritin kurkkia ovelle, että josko sieltä toiselta puolelta löytyisi joku vähemmän tempperamenttinen tapaus.

Minulla on ylläni turkoosit Vänttisen valjaat ja rouvalla saman valmistajan mintunvihreät valjaat. Sininen fleksi ei kuulu yhdistelmään ;-)

Maalaispojan ihmetyksellä ei ollut rajaa, kun minulle iskettiin päälle jotkut turkoosit vermeet! Mitä ihmettä! Koskaan en ole valjaita kokeillut, ja heti olisi pitänyt luonnon helmassa ryhtyä hommiin. Ihmeellinen rouva tämä Täplä, sviitissä tulee turpaan ja sitten pihalla intoutuu kosiskelemaan. Hyvä ettei uinut liiveihin!

Ei tämäkään kolli kaikkeen pysty, valjaat loi sen verran suorituspaineita, että mikään muu toiminta ei käynyt mielessä kun "tassua toisen eteen". Kuulemma kävelin kuitenkin paremmin kuin siskoni parin vuoden harjoitusten jälkeen. Aika hyvä suoritus siis?


Koira?! Se tästä enää puuttui. Nyt tämä kaveri lähtee sisälle, mihinkään live-esityksiin en ole suostunut. Vai mitäköhä siinä minun sopimuksessa luki pienellä? Liika yleisö luo kyllä turhan paljon suorituspaineita.

PS. Otan sanani takaisin... Kyllä tuo uusi rouva sittenkin on mainio, leikki vaan aluksi vähän vaikeasti tavoiteltavaa. Olen kyllä hieman ihmeissäni miettinyt, että tämä on sen aiemman rouvani tytär? Jos nähdään sukukokouksessa, niin kenen pöydässä istun? Varmaan parasta mennä vähin äänin sisko-Lullan pöytään... Menee aika monimutkaiseksi muuten.

Remu

I visited Remu yesterday and he has gotten more coat! My little boy still has the most pathetic voice EVER, but he also has a sweet, cuddly temperament to match the voice... Remu wasn't so interested in Eurovision song contest, but he came to check up on us once in a while. He even slept on my lap :-))

Naturally I didn't have my camera with me. But I try to take it with me when I go there next time.

By the way, stay tuned for pictures of daddy-Häjy... ;-) I think I will have something to post tomorrow.

Saga's GIC "gifts"

Pirok's catshow 17.5.

I was at Tampere yesterday with Shamicka's boyfriend Kassu, Kassu's father Nukis (IP&EC Deeamore Nobleza Nugan, JW) and their "mum" Päivi. A lot of Kassu's relatives were also present.

I didn't have any of my own cats with me, but still managed to carry a few at the show :-) Laura's and Erica's Enska (Ennio E'Xodja*PL) was going to judging at the same time as Kassu's sister Molla and brother Tiikeri, so I took Enska. Enska had 3 competitors and he was EX1 and BIV :-)). Dorte Kaae liked him a lot.

Molla and Tiikeri got their CAGCIBs, and oh-so beautiful GIP Leoline Adalmiina Aamukaste got CAPE, BIV and NOM. Kassu's half-brother Jimi Jäämies was EX1(4), BIV and NOM! A pretty good day for Kassu's breeder Laura ;-)

And for the results of Kassu and his father.. Nukis got his CAGPIB and was BIV. Kassu was judged way later, at the same time that Tellervo Kass was starting her nominations. But Päivi managed to present Kassu first and then go to Tellervo's table with Nukis. Nukis was nominated AND got a special prize from Tellervo :-) At the same time I presented Kassu in BIV and he won with a tail's lenght ;-) He was also to only male who was called back, and was therefore nominated! That was Kassu's 5th BIV and first nomination. He even got 1 vote at the panel - probably from his own judge.

As for the other results, Veikko's Ivor (EP&IC Suvipäivän Ivor) got HP, won his sister Ivoire at BIV and was nominated! Ivoire got CAPE and was also nominated. Congratulations!!

At the end of the day, Kassu and his relatives helped their breeder to victory.. So Leoline was the best breeder out of 20(?) breeders! Congratulations Laura :-)!!

Tiineys"päiväkirja"

En nyt jaksanut päivittää kotisivuja, niin laitetaas tää tänne...

14.5. Painoa on parissa päivässä tullut 100g lisää. Kokonaisuudessaan edelleen säälittävä painonnousu ;-) mutta varmaan ihan hyvä kun miettii miten huonosti Iines yleensä syö. Nyt menee jo possunsuikaleet ja raksutkin ihan eri tahtia kuin ennen. Kanashebakin on taas herkkua, katsotaan mihin asti tuo syömisinto vielä yltyy.

Toissayönä heräsin kauheaan huutoon (Roopen) ja kun kömmin katsomaan, huomasin että siellähän se roikkui Iineksen niskassa! Iines tosin itse oli kovin vastahakoinen... Sagan kanssa ovat kanssa ottaneet mittaa toisistaan, tosin tuntuu että Iines on niissä koitoksissa nyt voitolla. Toivon mukaan suuremmilta tappeluilta vältytään.

Olen kovasti suunnitellut uutta sisustusta pentuhuoneeseen (jota myös makuuhuoneeksi kutsutaan). Katsotaan nyt millainen siitä tulee. Parvekkeelle on ainakin tulossa uusi kiipeilypuu... Kiitos vaan iskä kun annoit kaataa hyvissä voimissa olevan omenapuun sitä varten ;-) Mulle kun ei ne 2 jo talvella kaatunetta kelvanneet....

Update on Saga (and bit about Shamicka, too)

Stitches have now been removed and everything looked fine. Saga has recovered from the operation as well as can be expected. Saga is now spending a well earned holiday from the shows. I have no idea when she will attend to any more shows.. maybe never ;-)

Shamicka seems to be expecting kittens :-) I don't want to get too excited yet, but her nipples are slightly bigger than before and they have a really nice red colour in them.. If everything goes well, kittens should be born on week 26.

Shamicka arrived in Finland last midsummer and now she is possibly delivering her kittens a year later :-D

Saga is feeling better :-)

Saga seems to be more and more like her old self again - giving Shamicka a hard time, doing something forbidden ALL the time, demanding food ALL the time etc :-D It was actually very very quiet without her creating some action around here. Seems that she can make more noice (and mess) by herself than the other three together :-)

Saga's coat is shining again and she hasn't tried to get the stictches off. Next week we will go and have them removed. Hopefully everything continues to go well :-)

I haven't entered my cats to a single catshow for the time being. Saga's children will probably attend a few in the summer, but I don't have any cats that I could take. I'm hoping that there will be kittens running around in the summer, but that remains to be seen... only two weeks since Shamicka was mated, I have a feeling she isn't expecting. But I could be wrong..
