2 weeks to go...

Still 2 weeks for the due date of Iines. She is already having trouble grooming herself, so maybe the amount of kittens is actually more than a few... Yesterday it seemed that the size of her stomach wasn't equal, but in the morning I didn't see it any more. I haven't made up my mind about what to guess, but maybe 3-5 kittens?

This may be "once in a lifetime" experience, but Iines is more heavy than Saga ;-) Saga is still very thin after being sick and operated.. But I'm sure that she will try to gain what she has lost at some point.

The kittenbox is still in my car, I haven't had the energy to drag it upstairs :-) Everything else is ready, I even managed to get a few days off work on week 26. (I have to go to a few exams on my summer vacation instead :-/but at this point it doesn't worry me so much...)

I'm trying to clear my schedule before the kittens are due, so for example this week is totally crazy. I have something to do or somewhere to go each night of the week. But hopefully things will cool down next week. I don't have anything planned - at least not yet.

Sibilja and Indira

I visited Saga's girls today and both are sooooo beautiful :-) They actually do look a bit like each other, don't you think?

Remeli valmiina Hyvinkäälle

Terkkuja iskälle! Oikeassa oot, kyllähän POIKA (ja ainoa sellainen) saa aina vähän lisäpisteitä, vaikka ei mulla ihan Sunnan häntää olekaan. Kauluria teen ja häntääkin oli, ennenkuin kasvattajatäti pilasi sen?! Huomenna mut kuulemma joudutaan pesemään, kuulostaa pahaenteiseltä.

Hoping for a cold summer..

It's so hot in my apartment and I feel so sorry for Shamicka... She has to wait 3 more weeks to deliver the kittens and then she must feed them in this "tropical" environment. But at least for now, she seems to be happy :-) She has started to eat more and more. Yesterday she ate 300g of turkey! (well, Roope and Saga helped a bit..)

Karkki, 7 months

I got some pictures of Karkki today :-) As you can see, she has also grown alot. For me she and Remu are the ones that slightly remind me of Saga.. And fortunately Karkki has better ears than her mother... :-)

Sunna 7months

I got lots of wonderful pictures of Sunna yesterday :-) She seems to be big and strong and has a lovely tail! The colour is also very very red, and the pattern is still very much visible.. I doubt that it will fade away, but maybe the genotype/fenotype registration will solve that problem.
