Tallinn, part 2

I just got home from and I'm so tired. The whole day has went by with a hurry... In the morning we went to the breakfast at 7 AM and there were "a few" others too. We waited about 20 min before we even got anything to eat. We were suppose to be at the show by 8, so Veikko was forced to drive very quickly so that we were there on time.

After that we waited over about hour to the judging to begin. It was meant to start 8:30 but... Iines was 23. cat on Sizova's table, so I had no hurry with her. She just loves the hammock that I bought her from Surok. She spent the day sleeping in it, her head towards the ventilator that I bought just for this trip. So at least she wasn't melting, although it was very hot in the hall both days. Today wasn't as warm as yesterday, so it was nicer to people and especially to cats.

First it was Igge's turn to go to the judge. He had Zagorskaja today and Igge got his 8th CACE out of 3 males. Another male from group IV was BIV so he didn't go further. Iffe was also judged by Zagorskaja and she recognized them as brothers at once :-)

Group VI was judged by Olga Sizova and it was really an interesting group. Three cats in class 1; two males and one female. One female in class 3, two males in class 5 and one female in the same class. And then there were 3 neuters, two females in class 11 and Iines in class 12. So quite a lot of cats! (the whole amount of category II was 120, quite big for a show in Tallinn and a lot of forestcats).

Marja's Leevi (GIC Deimos CrisCraft Sportsman) had a competitor and he won :-) It was his 8th CAGCIB and so he became Grand International Champion! Congratulations Marja!! After Leevi there was SmileTail's Pippi-Lotta who got her last CAGCIB too and became GIC! Congratulations Päivi!!

The BIV was chosen between a male from class 1 and Leevi - and Leevi was the best. Leevi was also nominated later, so a great weekend for Marja :-D

The judge didn't like Iines so much, in the judgment it says that she even has high set ears.. big but high set. I have to say that I don't agree... The main thing was the size. I admit that she could be bigger, but she is developing slowly. So the BIV went to a girl in class 11.

Iines was once again the only kitten (as on Saturday) so she was nominated. Since we were in a hurry to leave, Iines didn't have time to go to the panel at all. But I think that she had enough experience for one weekend and there was no point for her to be there :-) Of course I'm happy about the nominations, but as I said: they came for free since she had no competitors.

Veikko's Nagge got his first CAGPIB, but nomination went to a older neuter male.

It was a good day for us :-) We all got what we came for.

Kiitos Marja ja Veikko mukavasta matkasta!! Stroomiin ei kyllä enää mennä, mutta muuten oli oikein onnistunut reissu ja hauskaa oli :-)
